A Complete Set of Malaysian Wedding Card

1. Save The Date Card

It is most advisable to send a Save The Date card to your favourite guests to inform them to kindly mark their calendar. It shows how important they are to come along and share the joy and celebration of your wedding. Ideally, Save The Date cards shall be sent 5 to 6 months before the actual wedding day. It could be a very simple wedding save the date card in the form of postcard, single-fold card, or flat card, with basic information (need no additional info) such as the City, State, and of course a finalized wedding Date.

2. Accommodation Card

If you're planning for a destination wedding or an outstation / overseas wedding, an accommodation card is necessary for guest who are living out of the town. An accommodation may include one to three recommended hotel with the address and contact number as well as a map. A friendly reminder for Bride's out there, do let the hotel(s) to know about your wedding and if it is possible to do booking before the actual wedding day. Depending on the number of guests staying, you might want to ask for rebates!

3. An Itinerary Card

Itinerary card is usually a piece of individual card that slots inside the main wedding invitation card. It plays a role by letting your guests to get the idea on how the schedule of your wedding going to be. If you are having a church ceremony or dinner reception, you might want to inform your guests about the program schedule so that they can be there on time.

4. A Reply Card for R.S.V.P.

Reply cards or RSVP cards are created to let your guests fill up and mail it back to you as a reply on their attendance. An RSVP card shall include these few particulars; name, "accepts with pleasure" or "declines with regret", meal options (Vegetarian, Non-Vegetarian, Chicken, Fish, Beef, Children's Meal, etc.) Nonetheless, a complete reply card or RSVP card has to be accompanied by a small envelope with a firmly glued stamp and returning address stated on the front side. This is most convenient for your guests to just tick a few answers and drop the envelope into the postbox.

5. A Thank You Card

A thank you card can be given together with the wedding invitation card or being put on the table or place of each guest. It could be a short thank you note, a poem, or a picture of the lovely couple as return favour. Most of the thank you tags are included in the set of wedding card, to thank guests in advance for joining in your special day.

6. Combine Them!

Lastly, you may combine all these items in a pocket card with internal sleeve. If you're going for a more budget DIY wedding, it is always nice to pull a ribbon band and tie them together to make as one.
Make sure the arrangements of cards are appropriate and can be easily referred to.
